Summary 0000152: gemini crashes with "Failed to create XIM input context!" error
Description Every time I try to open any gemini window that includes a text input field, the whole application dies with a call to qFatal to report that it failed to create the XIM input context.

This started happening today after the latest batch of FC10 updates was installed, so I suspect that there's something in there that gemini doesn't like. I've attached a stack backtrace attached (although I don't think that's necessarily useful), plus a list of packages that got installed in the updates today after which the crashes occur.

gemini 2.29m (Jul 13 2008), Qt 3.3.8b (RPM: intellegit-gemini-2.29m-fc9.i386)

OK - I seem to have resolved this by going to FedoraIcon->System->Preferences->Personal->Input Method and re-enabling SCIM.

After re-enabling it, *then* you have to log out and log in again, otherwise the changes don't take effect.

I have to say that FC10 is really irritating me - every update seems to require a reboot, and they also fundamentally break everything - the previous one changed the keyboard layout to US keyboard (and no other options available), with no obvious way of setting it back without delving through the configuration.

Is there any chance you could build an RPM for FC10 for the last version of gemini?

This appears to be fixed.
