Could you try turning on logging for GnuPG (main options window, Encryption and Signing) and see what appears in the global log (View > Global Log) when you try to view this message? The interesting lines should be prefixed GNUPG:

The supplier of the GPG suite & Apple Mail plugin is included in the PGP header, if that's helpful.

The log report;

GNUPG:--------------------------------------------------
Oct 20 23:29:09 GNUPG: gpg: malformed CRC
Oct 20 23:29:09 GNUPG: gpg: quoted printable character in armor - probably a buggy MTA has been used
Oct 20 23:29:09 GNUPG:--------------------------------------------------

That bracketed character at the end of the Comment: line wasn't visible until I uploaded it here. I wonder...
... or is that to do with Mantis?

It's Mantis that's added the [^] because it's interpreting the URL in the Comment field as a link.

The =3ohN at the end looks suspicious and gpg's output suggests that could be what it's tripping up on. Would you be able to let me have a copy of the whole message, including headers, so I can see whether MPro is missing a decode step?

Afraid I deleted that one so uploading another. At least the error's consistent. Would it be useful to send one using your public key?

Thanks, I see the issue now - MPro should be quoted-printable decoding it before passing to gpg (the =3ohN is normal!)
